Not much happening in Ca except for school starting too. We completed our first week. I have a bunch of cuties. Spent Sat at church quilting with the Quilt Connection. Bill went to work so I am now home alone. I love choosing what i want to do and this is it. I miss everyone in Il very much.
This is a new experience for me. Can we add pictures?

Howdy from the farm....things are still hoppin' around here. Just cause kids have gone back to school doesn't mean its down time here. This is when I need them the most. (Lucky them I guess).

Caits is on the school softball team. She is pitching and doing awesome. Wed nite she got 9 strike outs. woo-hoo!

Colton has decided he wants to take guitar lessons. So I'll be calling Frankie to see about getting him into lessons.

Mike and Colton have their 1st boy scout meeting tonite, for the new year. Oooo wonder what they will get Mike to volunteer for?

Dad had a dr. appt on Thurs for his arm he hurt in Jul/Aug looking like he may have a torn rotator cup. He goes to a ortho dr on the 18 to see about getting a cortizone shot in his shoulder.
Mom is so-so, not sure what is going on or how to even help her.

Mike and I are getting ready for our annual anniversary weekend away. Riding our bikes to Grafton and staying in the Ruebel Hotel. Suppose to be haunted, who knows? But its fun being in such an old hotel and on the strip close to all the antique shops.

That pretty much is all that's up here......jacque k

Howdy Suttills!!
What a fun way to stay connected.
School has started for me also and I have lots of cuties! I'm trying to find a balance between work life and home life, but usually work till I drop and then veg on the couch. Got the new Pampered Chef things and hope the tools will inspire. Would love to hear of good, healthy, easy recipes.
Saturday I went to a pool party with people from work. They had a one foot diving board. I was able to do jack knife dives and front flips. The work at L&M Gymnastics has paid off. Surprised my self and coworkers with how well I did. It was a fun rush and kept flipping over different pool toys.
New stuff is starting at church and I am getting excited. The focus is caring for others and communicating God's grace. Many people are adopting and going on short term mission trips. I'm surving and attempting to thriving with the junior high Sunday School class. Today I had 32 students by myself.
I'm heading out for a wlk before it gets too dark. Love to all.

Hello from Arizona!
We too are adjusting to the kids in school. It is a new thing for us as we have always homeschooled them. There is a great little Christian School less than a block from our house. The kids are enjoying it and Patty is thankful for some personal time!

Things are going well at the church. Patty is helping out in the Children's department and Steve is teaching the membership class on Sunday mornings along with preaching Acts in AM Genesis in PM and 1John on Wednesday night.

Mom and Dad said they had a great time with you all this summber. Wish we could have joined them. Maybe next year.

It's good to hear from you all. Keep blogging!

Greetings from cool Illinois,This is a fun way to keep in touch with all our family, well everyone who has a computer and checks their email somewhat regularly. Fall has not changed our lives as much as some of you but new things have happened this week.  Tuesday night I went to WW at Rochester Christian Church where they started having meetings for the first time.  It will be much easier for me to buzz on down Rt. 29 to Rochester than travel clear across Springfield every Sat.  Also on Tues I started a class at church called Discover Your Ministry taught by Pastor Jay.  Looking forward to it.  Bob is feeling so much better.  He had a dr. appt. last Fri. with the kidney transplant dr.  and found out he is no longer in danger of losing the kidney. Praise God. We thank you for your prayers.  Yesterday he drove to Chicago with a gentleman who owns an antique store.  He needed someone to drive for him while he worked on his laptop.  They went to an antique auction and then drove back.  Bob really enjoyed it. So good to feel like driving again. today is the anniverary of 9/11 and also Kari Renee's birthday.  Give her a ring or card and pray especially for her.  Love to all,

HI! We had a busy summer with church, work and inside and outside projects. We're busy at our church, I have been song leader for around 6-7 months, Tom has been running sound for a couple years and also helps with the kids on Wed night. I also started teaching sunday school. Never thought I'd be a sunday school teacher! School started a couple weeks ago; I have biology this semester and I'm auditing the last half of algebra because it was so hard. First C I've had so far! I almost had a meltdown but it didn't affect my GPA so I got over it! I will have 4 classes to go and will have my associates. I will be moving on to UIS or Spfld College after that. I've been told that I have lofty career goals, but what's wrong with that I say?! it's good for me. Take care all. Khrystal

Hi everyone,
Just want to give you all an update on Bob. It seems the good news was short lived. The kidney is not out of danger after all. This week Bob starts a more intensive procedure to correct it. He will have treatments everyday this week and 3 times next week. They will last 4-6 hours for one treatment, Mon. Wed, and Fri, and 6-8 hours for the other treatment on Tue and Thu. Please keep him in your prayers that this will do the job this time.
We have had beautiful weather this weekend. Hope you did also.

HeySuttill fam, Today is the
Aids walk in San Jose. Our Church is "leaving the building." Instead of holding our AM service we are all walking in the walk. Then at 5:00 this eviening will hold our service. It is a way we can be the hands and feet of Christ in this hurting world. A fundraiser. The people who participate in events such as this are always surprised to see Christians reaching out in love instead of judging and condeming them.
Yesterday I attended the ;Pacific International Quilt Festaval. Spend the whole day with 4 of my quilting buddies. Spent too much money on my hobby but saw a lot of beautiful artwork. Now today I have to get down to work and grade that wagon load of Papers I brought home. Ho Hum.

Howdy from the farm! While most would think that things are slowing down on the farm, no-one here has actually experienced that yet! Hopefully November will bring the slow down.
The boys have been doing boy scout stuff the past 2 weeks, camping out and doing stuff to get badges. Colton is about ready to move up a level. Setting his sights on eagle. woo-hoo. Caits wants to join boy-scouts, girl scouts don't do much of anything at her age. So after her birthday she will be eligible.
The weather here has been awesome. We got some ride time Sunday, a toy run with the local Abate chapter for Contact Ministries. Hope it stays like this until turkey-day, and then let it snow, let it snow!
Yipee for me, November 3 I have to report for jury duty ;( Oh well worse things could happen.
We are busy getting ready for Caits birthday...it's a mad dash kinda like Apryl describes in her blog, but I don't shine my sink!
Good stuff on the farm now: spinach (had granny's spinach salad tonight) cauliflour(lol) white and Orange (called cheddar) it's awesome, broccoli, cabbage, swiss chard, spring lettuce mix, daikon radishes, leeks, brussel sprouts, a few late green beans, lots of pumpkins, and squash. We had pumpkin hash for dinner...it was the cooking demo saturday at the market...yumm...
Hope all is well and everyone has a great week, jacque k. {=^;^=}

Hi Suttill Fam
Greetings from not so sunny Illinois. The weather here has turned cold and rainy. But we expected that didn't we? Had a great weekend last week. Bob and I went on our annual Shop Hop across Il. We went to 8 different quilt shops in 8 different cities and put almot 300 miles on the car. Bob loves to drive and I love to shop so we both were happy. Every year at this time the quilt shops in this area sponsor this event to promote their shop and have specials and give aways. We had a lot of fun. It lasts 2 weekends but we were unable to go the first because Bob was in the hospital. His kidney was being rejected and he was very sick probably because of the treatments he had gone through the previous 2 weeks. He has had to go back on dialysis but the doctor thinks this may only be temporary. He said he thinks the kidney will just "wake up". We are praying that will happen. Meanwhile it is back to the very restrictive diet for dialysis patients. However, when he went for dialysis on Wed. the doctor said it looks like the kidney is doing better. His creatine was 2.4 or something like that. That just means to me that it is getting better. Praise God! He has dialysis today, Friday, but not on Monday like he should. They want to see if the kidney is working as it should. Anyway Bob is very encouraged by this news. He continues to have trouble with his diabetis. Last night he woke up sweating and feeling very disoriented. It was very scary for a while but then he had some honey and that seemed to help. He has been such a trooper and is doing everything he should to get better and is trusting the Lord to see him through this. It has brought us closer together to each other and to God. My advice to everyone is take care of yourself because this is the only body you will get even if you have to get parts from others from a transplant. Hope this hasn't been too long and boring. Love to all.

So glad Bob is doing better. Bill and I did our Walk for Aids last Sunday. We walked almost the whole 5 miles. We both came home and crashed afterwards. There were hundreds of people there. Unlike Abe's Amble. Very slow moving. We were on the Team Beautiful Day. Agroup of Christians who have committed to reach out to our community in practical ways.We wore blue t-shirts. I was amazed at how many of the walkers were on our team. We wanted the aids victoms and their families to know we as christians really to care.

Howdy, from the chilly prairie! There is a difinite chill in the air here. Last weeks wonderful weather has dissappeared. I put in a special order to keep it in the 60's until after Turkey day, and then bring on the snow...someone with weather control didn't listen to my request. Things are pretty good here. My mom had her surgery today for her difibulator/pace maker. She's doing good, the doctor said he had a few roadblocks but everything turned out the way he wanted. She is spending the night to be monitored and will come home tomorrow. Hopefully this will be beneficial.
Colton and Mike are getting ready for their cave expidition on the 22nd. Caits and I will be bachlorette's...so I envision High School Musical 3 movie in my near future. The kids went on a scout swim outing saturday..I was at a dyslexia seminar so they rode their bikes, I'm sure it was a "cool" ride, and even "cooler" coming home. Looks like I'm going to have a battle with Colton's teacher so pray for me to have calm and patience when I have to go meet with her to further discuss colton's dysgraphia. I was hoping this would go smoothly but looks like we may have to go to battle. I so didn't want a 1st year teacher for him....ugh. Hope everyone has a great week, keep my mom in your prayers, dad too! Stay warm, jacque k.
